    When I am out shooting nature I always remember to look down at my feet now and then because not all the great subjects are landscapes. Some of my favorite images are ones taken on the forest floor and it all started with this one. Taken back in the 1980's at Minneoppa State Park in MN., I had my Pentax K1000 set up on a tripod and was shooting a scene along the riverbank when I looked down and saw this. I did nothing to change or arrange this image. What you see is what I saw.
