Mumbai, India 2013. A young lady is desperately begging in a crowded street. Dozens of people walked by her, without glancing at her. I decided to capture this flow of indifferent people by shooting at low speed. After a while, one of these passer-by stopped by me and reproached me for taking photo of poverty. I replied I was not showing poverty, I was actually capturing indifference. He took it personally and left without a word.
