I was touring Dogon Country in Mali when I saw this beautiful overlook of the canyon. It was rich with color & scenery. Then I spotted the three women carrying something on their heads. As I stood there and watched in awe, they made their way up the cliff to the top. This was their daily trek out to get firewood for their family. They weight of the burden on their head looked tremendous. The whole scene left me with an even strong impression of these women & their daily lives. Amazing!
