This is what I woke up to after freezing in my sleeping bag at night. This is trail camp located along the Mount Whitney Trail. Many people stop here and spend the night before finishing the about 3 miles that are left to the summit. Also, this is the last spot with water, so fill up your bottles and hydrate because the last 3 miles are the hardest. The mountains in the background are known as the 100 switchbacks.
