I visited a little with Ray, today. He will be 95 on August 1st. He was playing piano for the sing along at the nursing home. The closed the time with "America The Beautiful". It is known as our National Hymn. He remembers being five and that the United States had no national anthem, but in the early 30s Congress passed a resolution to make "The Star Spangled Banner" our anthem.
