Edit Photo Details Children will always climb trees.   #thailand #endpoverty #compassioninternational
I was on assignment in Thailand for Compassion International, a ministry that helps fight child poverty. I was in a small village on the border or Thailand and Myanmar. We met a young family that had been deserted by their parents, left to supervision by extended family. The children were full of energy and joy, and the little village was their playground. With skill and ease the youngest girl bolted up a tall tree. I thought to myself, regardless of place, children will always climb trees.
