While returning from a walk near sunset a flock of sea birds took off in one mad rush, flying from one side of the Iona jetty to the other. The sound their wings made startled the couple walking on the pipe as they flew over their heads. It was almost a whirring sound. When I heard it I turned around and grabbed this photo with my phone.
