In this region growth a kind of glutinous rice that turns yellow when the stalks are mature, painting the fields in several shades of yellow and green. This rice is picked off one by one, and then they made sheafs that are hanging upside down to dry on the roofs and balconies. It makes a wonderful rice wine.
