A beach in Kenting, Taiwan, January 2012. The sun shone brightly on the sandy beach. The waves crashed onto the shores and bubbled up into a thick foam that looked so much like the Canadian snow I'm accustomed to seeing. The light reflecting onto my friend's face made the scene sublime.
