Schools of anchovies swarm around a diver with a gopro. These "baitballs" defend themselves from predators by being neighborly. They form dense schools which cause disorientation and confusion on those attempting to feed on them. Model: Alan James Smith. Shot on Sony a7r, Nauticam housing, manual nikonos 15mm UW lens. Small rock island near -2.031667, 130.735672, commonly referred to as "two tree rock". Shot 11/25/14, 10meter depth.
