Pronghorn
Commonly called a "Pronghorn Antelope", the "Antilocapra americana" is indigenous to North America. It resembles the Old World antelope and occupies the same ecological niche. Unless one has a long lens, it is a difficult animal to photograph. The Pronghorn is very skittish will easily bolt, running up to 65 mph. I was lucky to photograph this male specimen from my car. The yellow background is Peppergrass, belonging to the mustard/cabbage family.
