It was early in the morning, and our first stop in our Kanazawa tour is this old, private garden which used to belong to the Maeda family. It is one of the three great gardens of Japan, and I can clearly see why. Filled with various types of trees and shrubs, as well as several stone lanterns and calm ponds, this garden is just the perfect place to relax, to reflect, and to regain our balance in life.
