After taking the usual photos of the statue with the water spouting out of it in the middle of the fountain, I was watching the drops splash into the water below. The circles and ripples were so beautiful, so I stepped up onto the low wall around the basin/pond of the fountain and started snapping away looking down into the water from above. I spotted this leaf floating and then saw the bug attempting to get near it, perhaps to use as a life raft, but the ripples wouldn't let it.
