    Edit Photo Details Lightning, Lake Michigan   #clouds #boat #night #lightning #lakemichigan #bulb #wisconsin
One of the techniques I enjoy using to capture lightning is to use a Bulb exposure, allowing upwards of minutes to pass, thereby creating the sense of movement or blur in the clouds, the passing light of a ship and the flat looking water. This is one of the creative techniques used for some time since the advent of imaging. With Digital, even with high end Sensors it tends to create a bit of "noise" and is difficult to render the scene as accurately as possible. Memory is near always subjective.
