Many people find the seagulls bothersome but they are such a vocal and visual sign of the coast for me. In our town, they are also more used to people so they will hang out while I'm photographing and sometimes, I look up to find I'm being watched (like here). This guy stayed around for some time, probably hoping I'd drop a treat of some kind. He had to settle for my admiration.
