    The place is known as Kumortuli which is famous for its world class clay art of Indian God and Goddess. Just before the Durga Puja, there is huge pressure on the artist to make clay idol for delivering those to the various parts of the states as well as export to different countries. The artist was taking a small rest after getting tired due to the 24 hrs laborious devotion. This is the time when they earn money by selling the clay art and save it for the whole year to run their family
