I spent over 7 hours trying to capture a perseid meteor flash between the backdrop of the Milky way galaxy and the foreground of this "High Cross" This is the highest memorial cross in Ireland at over 30 feet tall., located on a costal hill. The top half of the cross has been highlighted by the nearby Galley Head lighthouse. Both the lighthouse and High Cross are connected to Lord Carbery of Castlefreeke Castle, WestCork, Ireland.
