While on holiday in the Western Ghats in South India, I came across this delicate fern-like plant growing out of the side of an embankment. The vivid green held together by the dark glossy branches really caught my eye, especially against the dark background. It seemed as though some of the leaves were suspended in midair with the rest held together by a fragile network of vein-like branches.
