    Came home to find this little visitor hanging out on the outside of the front window of the house. According to http://www.keepinginsects.com you can tell the difference between male and female praying mantises by looking at how many abdominal segments they have on their undersides (there are other methods too which the website goes into detail about but this is the method I used). Apparently, females have a smaller number of abdominal segments on their undersides than males do. So after taking
