Since nature is such a chaotic and random force, finding simplicity and seemingly repetitive elements that contrast this concept tend to produce strong images for me. Santa Monica beach this day was packed with kids and families on summer vacation. Going under the pier, I found this two canoes that properly framed the pier's support beams -- a perfect mesh between waves and the repetitive pattern of the beams.
