This day was my first attempt at trying to make a glassy and smooth beach scene. Finding the exposure was fairly simple, given the use of a ND and Grad ND filter stacked to balance the light. The biggest challenge was the composition and trying to find a nice foreground that was not distracting. For this photograph, I went halfway in between the glassy shot and an action shot to create movement within the frame.
