A quite substantial family house abandoned and derelict on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Why and when it was abandoned I don't know, was life too harsh, were elderly people unable to continue there, did they fall on hard times. The remains of a previous dwelling, a traditional Black House, can also be seen to the right of the main house.
