This photo was shot along the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail in Big Bend National Park. The park is in Brewster County, Texas and covers over 800,000 acres.The area in the image is actually over in Mexico looking across the Rio Grande River. What drew me to this shot were the shadows. I was really taken with the way these shadows made the distant hills appear.
