Two newly out of nest lapwing chicks were in the ball field near where parents were watching their kids at their Saturday activities nearly. They were being carefully watched by their very protective parents who had no qualms about attacking anyone who gone into the area invisibly marked by them. They were really cute fluff balls. Photographing them was a challenge as the parents attack anyone that gets within the invisible lines they have drawn and these guys are no bigger than a few leaves.
