I found this big fly while Trekking/Hiking near Dharamsala, India. It was ~2 inches in length, ~1/2 inches wide, don't know the wing span as it was sitting on the ground. I noticed it only because of its burrrr in otherwise camouflaged surroundings. Hope some one will help me recognize the species.
