Every year, a Scottish Heritage Day is held in my hometown of Ticonderoga, NY. Home of Fort Ticonderoga and battleground during the French and Indian War. Men and women of Scottish heritage travel from all over the world to attend this memorial service for fallen ancestors at this memorial cairn. It is important to remember our ancestors and their actions.
