I am always in awe of people's loon photos, because I know how hard it is to get a good one. Out on Eagle Lake one day in my kayak, this guy popped up right in front of me. I was so excited, but I was able to get a few shots off before he dove back under water. With just my simple point and shoot camera, I think I do a pretty good job getting good wildlife photos. I can't afford a fancy camera with a telephoto lens, but I make do with what I have.
