The moon kept drawing my attention as I glimpsed it through the window. Finally I went outside and saw that it was about to meet up with some very interesting cloud formations. It surprised me to find that it generated such colors in the middle of the night. The color, (presumably from light splitting as it passes through the cloud vapor) and the gradual silhouetting as the cloud thickness increases was captivating.
