Our downtown Costa Rica tour brought us down crazy "calles" and "avenidas," but also led us to places where no cars were allowed, giving us time to admire the architecture and awe-inspiring colors of the city. Green palm trees towered overhead, light pink and butter yellow buildings lined our path, and the hazy blue mountains lingered in the distance. It's hard not to love color when you travel to Costa Rica.
