Seen this lighthouse from far, all my life I really didn't know that it's actually no longer was lit. They replaced this old lighthouse with a newer one a couple of hundred yards away. However, this week they had festival called "Västerhavsveckan", that translates to The Week of the Western Sea. During this week they started up the old lighthouse again and manually lighted it up at sunset. I could´t resist for the first time going out to that island and discover this place for myself.
