Thinking of the Kumbh Mela often makes one think of Sadhus. However, a significant part of the mela is the pilgrims who travel from far & wide as well as the locals whose lives continue as usual. For most of them, it is a chance to meet family & friends, and also have some fun. Here, some locals play at a garden adjoining the site of the Kumbh at Nasik, India. Watchful eyes of the police from the control tower, ensure that everything at the Kumbh is in order.
