My family's last day in the Upper Peninsula (and the only clear night) I decided to go down to the dock and take pictures of the stars. I didn't know until I noticed a green glow on the horizon that there was something more happening that night. So I stuck around for a few hours, and my patience paid off. Aurora filled the sky, and I got one of my favorite pictures to date.
