Springing from ashes
The landscapes inside the Haleakala Crater are the most bizarre I have ever come across. Heavy fogs from the ocean fill the crater in the morning but the abundant sunlight penetrates the fog to support the flora of the crater. Animals and plants flourish even in this seemingly barren landscape.
