Dawn at Mount Edith Cavell
Mount Edith Cavell is located in the Athabasca River and Astoria River valleys of Jasper National Park, Canada, and the most prominent peak in Alberta. It was renamed in 1916 for Edith Cavell, an English nursing heroine of WWI, who nursed anyone who needed it, regardless of their side in the war, before later being executed for helping Allied soldiers escape Belgium. My dawn trip was rewarded with a glorious sunrise, before this picture over Cavell Lake half a hour after sunrise
