After 6 years, I finally reunited with my family back in Taiwan. We decided to take a trip to Alishan, Taiwan, known for its mountains and national forestry. We woke up at 4am to take a hike to the top of the mountain to catch the sunrise. As the sun was peeking out behind the mountains, we realized we were standing above the clouds. It was mesmerizing. The one thing that completed the awe beauty of this sunrise was this one lonesome tree peeking beyond the clouds.
