Lakota Nation Invitational is held at the Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. The event is primarily a statewide basketball tournament however many other aspects of Lakota culture including hand games, dance, foods and crafts can be seen at this immensely popular event. Thousands travel from throughout the state and beyond to view the high school basketball talent and compete for prizes.
