Singapore, a small, urban metropolis island, is also known as the “Garden City” due to its many parks which provide peace and respite to city-fatigued dwellers. I came upon a bridge overlooking a small stream in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, a swamp nature reserve with numerous bird species. I was fascinated by the movement of the strong current that went under the bridge - lines, circles, curls. These painter's brush strokes on a water canvas were mesmerizing to me, an unexpected zen moment.
