Longhorn Staredown
I stopped along the side of a road in Idaho to take a photo of a longhorn steer. Initially, the steer was quite a distance away on the range. I watched as the steer came closer and closer toward me, keeping his eyes on me the entire time. I felt safe, as there was a wire fence separating me from him. I wondered what he was thinking as he just continued to stare me down. What I hadn't noticed (until my wife mentioned it) was that his owner was also watching me closely the whole time I was there.
