We had just crossed out of the narrow alleys of the Medina and walked by this empty courtyard with a beautiful woman speaking quietly on her cell phone as a small soda can rolled to and fro on the floor. It was this peaceful moment in a city that otherwise shoulder-to-shoulder with people.
