    Angalamman Festival is held every year in the village of Kaveripattinam in Tamil Nadu, Thousands+ devotees gathered here to worship Angalamman on day of Maha Shivratri. During the festival worshippers painted their faces like Goddess Kali and some of piercing iron rods in their cheeks.
