I can describe what happened, I can describe what I saw, but I cannot describe the feeling of pure peace that I got while walking the streets of Straatsburg. While the history of this now French town was not always peaceful there is something about those typical German houses that makes me feel what I felt as a child when being read the beginning of a fairytale, that part where nothing bad has happened yet, and everything was safe. One of the best places on earth that I want to revisit.
