Trip to home town, my mom took me to Perkins Beach which was my father's favorite spot. I had never been here and being on that beach, I could feel my father's presence (as he passed away a few years ago. This was such a serene moment for me. Being here reminded me to remember to relax and take a breath (I work with students who are suicidal and self harming).
