After an arduous nine days trekking through the Swiss alps, on the tenth, we turned a corner around a rocky mountain to find this magnificent viewpoint waiting. What made this view all the more rewarding, was the fact that we were exhausted from going the wrong way prior to this - adding an unnecessary 2 hours to our hike. We sat in this tranquil spot for around an hour, but it only felt like a few minutes because there was just so much beauty to take in from the 360 degrees around us.
