Whilst marine biologists surveyed the reefs of Chagos I grabbed every opportunity to snorkel and free dive admiring the beauty and abundance of fish, marine life and coral so untouched and protected in this marine conservation. These curious batfish located on a small reef near the Salmon islands followed me around the reef not wanting to be noticed but intrigued by my presence.
