I was in Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans. An amazing yet overwhelming place to be. I must have stood in front of this crypt for 20 minutes unsure of what I was seeing. This family had several members in this crypt and they were all gone for over 100 years. Someone still took the time to place fresh flowers. Was it a relative? A stranger? No matter. The fact is whoever did this had such faith that they were still honoring a family from a different age and honoring their God at the same time.
