While volunteering for an NGO in the Philippines, they took me to visit this family living in the woods. The little house is nestled in the woods on a small patch of clearing. The house has been battered by many seasons of typhoon, it's barely standing. It appears to be a whimsical contemporary architecture, but instead it's a sad statement of things for this family. I thought the lone little house in the woods is like an anti-fairy tale.
