This woman was taking a break from selling to the tourists in SaPa, Vietnam. Agriculture is important but it is tourism that supports the family. All along the trail were women and children selling their goods while following/ tracking down the tourists. Life of the ethnic populations in this far North region of Vietnam is disappearing. Young people are moving away and development from Both China and Vietnam is creeping in.
