Hoshang Shah's Tomb
Hoshang Shah's Tomb is the first marble structure of India. It is one of the most refined examples of Afghan architecture.
Its unique features include the beautifully proportioned dome, intricate marble lattice work and porticoed court and towers.
It served as a template for the construction of Taj Mahal
The tomb was constructed in the 15th century.
The tomb was so elegant and beautiful that it enchanted Shah Jahan and so he sent 4 of his architect before construction of Taj Mahal.
