A permanent bed at the beach for all!
Locals call it "Holhu-Ashi" which literally means hollow trunk platform. Made from hollow pandanus trunks and set up near the beach in many small island communities in Maldives, used as a resting place for elderly locals for relaxing and socializing and for some afternoon siesta! Photographed in Vaavu Atoll Keyodhoo island, a community of less than 100 people
