Three Shires Head
Three Shires Head is a small English waterfall on the River Dane and the point on Axe Edge Moor where Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire all meet. While it is not the biggest or even the most spectacular it is a beautiful spot and boasts a Grade II-listed 'packhorse bridge'. The bridge was likely constructed in the late 18th century and formed part of a trade route in the area thought to carry silk and / or coal.
